Latvian Zonta Scholarship

Dear Zontians,

We would like to thank you all for your support to the Zonta Club of Latvia Scholarship.

Without your financial assistance it would not be possible to assist talented girls in Latvia from low income families to acquire higher education!

Zonta Clubs of Latvia Scholarship in the amount of EUR 2000 (LVL 1 400.00) is awarded for the first year studies at a higher educational establishment in Latvia to talented, hard-working and socially active girls from low income families. Scholarships are administered by the Vitolu Foundation. www.vitolufonds.lv

The Zonta Club of Latvia Scholarship winners are:

  1.  2008/2009 – Madara Mežviete, financial management.
  2.  2009/2010 - Liena Puise- Puiše, translation and interpreting of German/Russian/Latvian.
  3.  2010/2011 – Eva Dručka, medicine.
  4.  2010/2011 -  Ance Dombure, environment and water management.
  5. 2011/2012 – Anda Meikališa, medicine. 
  6. 2011/2012 - Anete Kļaviņa, psychology.
  7. 2012/2013 – Anna Astapenko, rehabilitation and social work.
  8. 2013/2014 – Olga Jakovļeva, doctor’s assistant program.
  9. 2014/2015 – Elīna Ģībiete, modern languages and business.
  10. 2015/2016 – Liene Bokmane, journalistics
  11. 2016/2017 - Monta Paula Oliņa, environmental science
  12. 2017/2018 – Ieva Uzāne, physics and mathematics.
